The BBC has an article on a new project in Britain to film a colony of seals during pupping season, at night. The season is currently underway, with some 1,756 pups already having been born, but at least two months remain in the season. The BBC’s Winterwatch project will be using military-grade thermal imaging to capture the nocturnal happenings of the colony.
