The Rogue River, a popular destination for paddlers and famous for it Wild and Scenic stretch, is abysmally short of water this year. Like much of Southern Oregon, the Rogue’s basin is tragically short of snow. While a cool, wet spring could provide some relief, it is likely flows on the river will be setting record lows this summer. What this will mean to recreationists, as well as the denizens of the area, is not yet clear.
