Flupyradifurone, a neonicotinoid pesticide from chemical giant Bayer, has been approved by the EPA. Given the established link between neonicotinoids and massive bee die-offs, environmental groups are seeing red over the decision. As a result the Defenders of Wildlife, the Center for Biological Diversity and the Center for Food Safety have announced their intention to sue the agency to block the decision.
