OSMB Hearings on Wake Sports Rules
In the coming weeks, the Oregon State Marine Board intends to hold hearings in regard to proposed safety rules for wake sports. Hearings will be held in Bend, Central Point, and Salem, with the Salem event coming August 15, at 6:00 pm, in the board’s offices at 435 Commercial St. NE.

Oregon Supreme Court to Decide On Lake Oswego Access
The court is considering a challenge to city ordinances denying the public access and use of the waters of the eponymous city’s central water body. Although the lake is primarily surrounded by private property, the city does own some public, lakeside lands, but significantly restricts their use for access.
